As a public service, Bono dresses like Satan so we can all know what he looks like and won't be caught off guard when he approaches and asks to borrow a match.
1) To raise awareness of FALSE CONVERSION. You can't just call yourself a Christian (or Catholic), slap a cross around your neck, keep on living like the Devil, and think you will be right with God on Judgment Day. Jesus said those people will be sent to Hell.
2) To tell the church it's OUR FAULT that things are this way by pushing a message of "easy believism".
4) To let celebs and fashionistas know that the cross is not a just trendy fashion statement; it is a very deep and meaningful symbol of the greatest sacrifice far beyond any person could ever imagine.
Residing near Galveston, TX, C. Keith Carpenter is a born-again Christian with a passion for evangelism and apologetics. His life mission to share with the world the Biblical gospel of Jesus Christ while defending it…not from atheists and agnostics, not from Muslims or skeptics, but from a far greater threat – America's own church culture.
