Not withstanding the infamous Vanity Fair photo (which I attribute to youthful indescresion and poor parental oversight), and the fact that she said one of her idols is Madonna, I pray that Miley truly is a born-again believer and that her life will reflect that by striving for holiness in the years to come.
1) To raise awareness of FALSE CONVERSION. You can't just call yourself a Christian (or Catholic), slap a cross around your neck, keep on living like the Devil, and think you will be right with God on Judgment Day. Jesus said those people will be sent to Hell.
2) To tell the church it's OUR FAULT that things are this way by pushing a message of "easy believism".
4) To let celebs and fashionistas know that the cross is not a just trendy fashion statement; it is a very deep and meaningful symbol of the greatest sacrifice far beyond any person could ever imagine.
